Question by maddiesaige: I am starting at a new school- should I wear designer clothes, or will I come off as a snob?
I spent my whole life at schools with dress codes and uniforms, and I am finally going to a school with neither. I have some designer clothes that I don’t get too wear much because I have to wear collars to school. Should I wear them to my new school? Or would I come off as a snob?

just be yourself, don’t over do it not to much make-up and your clothes arent to tight, but don’t change your attitude?

I would wait about a week, dress casual the first few days to see what the styles are there. Depending on whether its a suburb or city school really is important on how you are judged, i’m a city girl and moved to the suburbs and it was completely different and everyone wore designer clothes at the suburb one. So you will have a bigger chance of getting seen as a “snob” if it’s a city school.

if u wanna wear designer clothing, wear them, if u want to mix n match designer clothing with not so designer clothing, then go for it! as long as ur comfy and don’t act like you own the school, then shit girl make the school your audience! and as Tim Guns would say, “MAKE IT WORK” oh and please, always make sure you look ur best! please! have fun at your new school!
